Just the right amount of science and nature

Scientist

As the lead researcher in a biochemistry-focused exercise physiology lab, I am right at home among pipettes, test tubes and lab rats.  My comprehensive knowledge of cellular physiology, endocrinology and skeletal muscle fuel utilization gives me an understanding of the how the body works that allows me to make targeted recommendations to help it function optimally.  And don't worry, I am able to make this information accessible to you, no matter how science averse you may be.

Master of Science (MS), Kinesiology and Exercise Science, California State University-Northridge
Bachelor of Science (B.S.), Nutritional Sciences, University of California, Berkeley

Naturalist

Science has a place, and that place is not in our food supply.  By using traditional food practices and tapping into ancestral knowledge of natural remedies, we can give the body the nutrients it needs to heal itself.  Nature's medicine is designed to work with our body, and should always be our first line of defense, before we turn to synthetics and band-aid type "solutions" for health.  Trained as a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner, I can bring these old-school concepts into the new age of alternative healthcare, and help you achieve optimal health, naturally.

Lindsea (Burns) Willon

As a healthcare practitioner, I do my best to practice what I preach, but I am human too.  So no, I don't avoid all processed foods, drink all 80oz of water, or workout everyday.  But I try my best, and that is what I ask of my clients.  I try my best because when I do, I feel my best and I know you will too.

I am the daughter of an inspiring mother, who overcame a chronic illness with alternative medicine and taught her children to think critically and differently.
I am a Cal Bear married to a Bruin, a San Diegan living in LA, and an educated woman with a love for trashy novels.
I am happiest surrounded by friends and family in the mountains or at the beach.
I am thankful for my health and want you to be too.
